JOB TITLE:           RECEPTIONIST/CASHIER

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Answer all telephone calls in a courteous manner, identifying the department and greeting the caller, offering help when necessary.
  2. Taking messages when the person concerned is not available.
  3. Make phone call on behalf of Management when necessary.  Ensure that all contact numbers are updated.
  4. Entertain in a polite manner all club members and visitors with related enquiries.
  5. Maintain an organized filing system.
  6.  Follow up proper tee time booking.
  7.  Ensure all sales/cash are properly logged and recorded.
  8.  Follow up on all corporate events, liaise with the departments concerned and ensure clear information.
  9.  Follow instructions from head of department / manager.
  10.  Comply with Income auditors or account staff instructions.
  11. Exposure in the front office environment.
  12. Compliance on assigned duty schedule/shift.
  13. Other duties that may be assigned by the head of department from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Honest and determined
  2. Active and polite manner.
  3. Can work with minimum supervision.
  4. Able to maintain positive outlook.
  5. Has a sense of urgency.
  6. Customer service oriented.
  7. Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and scanners.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication.
  10. Strong multitasking skills
  11. Experience with databases, and operating office equipment.
  12. Knowledge in Intelligent Golf is an advantage.
  13. Knowledge of Golf is an advantage.

Experience:

Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role is highly desirable.
